Quality advice programme

Kevin McCarthy is Quality Advice accredited by MLC Financial Planning Ltd under our internal Quality Advice Programme.

The Programme involves a defined set of standards for measuring quality of advice.

In order to receive Quality Advice Accreditation, Kevin was required to meet a number of essential criteria in relation to financial planning principles and have a number of his financial plans assessed against the Quality Advice standards.

Ongoing and regular assessment of the quality of advice provided to his clients is also an important element of the Programme.

CoreData’s financial advice group award

MLC Financial Planning, our financial planning licensee, has received a Highly Commended rating, ranking second in the CoreData Research Advisory Group of the Year awards for 2012. MLC’s Apogee Financial Planning was the overall award winner, with MLC Financial Planning coming in at a very close second place.

Based on the research and feedback provided by potential clients (‘shadow shoppers’) who went through the process of seeking financial advice, the award recognises the quality of customers’ experiences when seeking advice from a MLC Financial Planning adviser.

MLC Financial Planning scored higher than the industry average across most categories, highlighting their ability to meet your needs by providing quality advice.

This award is particularly significant because it’s based on the experience of real customers seeking advice, and compares the quality of those experiences across Australia’s leading advice networks.

This award reflects the quality advice and client focus of the businesses in the MLC Financial Planning network and acknowledges our absolute commitment to delivering meaningful advice to clients. It is an endorsement of how well advisers within our MLC Financial Planning network understand their clients, engage and explain the value of advice.
